Managing submissions

RB Forms includes a built-in submissions management system that allows you to view, review, and manage all form entries directly inside the WordPress admin area — without relying on third-party services.

Each form stores its own submissions, making it easy to track messages, support requests, or user feedback in one place.

Where to Find Submissions

Submissions are available inside each individual form:

1. Go to RB Forms → All Forms
2. Click on a form you want to manage
3. Open the Records section at the top of the form editor

This section displays all submissions related only to the selected form.

Submissions List Overview

The records list shows each submission as a separate row, including:

• Submission date and time
• Read / unread status
• Quick access actions (view or delete)

At the top of the list, you’ll find control tools to manage entries efficiently.

Viewing a Submission

Click on a submission row to open its detailed view in a dialog window.

The submission details include:

• Field values submitted by the user (Name, Email, Message, etc.)
• Agreement or consent confirmation (if enabled)
• Notification status
• User IP address
• Internal submission ID and timestamp

This dialog allows quick review without leaving the form editor.

Read and Unread Status

RB Forms automatically marks new submissions as unread.

You can:

• Identify unread submissions visually
• Use “Show only unread” to filter the list
• Mark submissions as read by opening them

This is especially useful for support or contact forms where response tracking matters.

Refreshing Submissions

Use the Refresh button to reload the submissions list.

This is helpful when:

• New submissions arrive while the page is open
• Multiple administrators are working with the same form

Deleting Submissions

RB Forms gives you full control over stored data:

• Delete a single submission using the trash icon
• Delete selected rows by checking multiple entries
• Delete all submissions for the form at once

⚠️ Important:
Deleted submissions are permanently removed and cannot be restored.

Managing Submissions Safely

Best practices:

• Review submissions before deleting them
• Export or copy important data if needed (future feature)
• Regularly clean old submissions for performance and privacy

• Consistent with native WordPress UI
• Fast and lightweight, even with many records

No external dashboards, no complex setup — everything works inside WordPress.
